The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
