The speculation surrounding this year's gaming ceremony was significant, especially after host Geoff Keighley posted a puzzling photo of a strange statue. The mystery has now been solved. The acclaimed developer is creating a completely new Divinity game.
Announced as Divinity, the game was presented with a audacious trailer featuring intense imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the very descent into chaos.
Not the Expected Sequel
Anyone expecting Divinity Original Sin 3, prepare for a surprise. Larian warned that a follow-up to its venerated RPGs is not being worked on now.
Nevertheless, the developer described this new Divinity as a next chapter of the main series. This distinction implies that the team might be building a faster-paced experience instead of another turn-based title. At this moment, we can only guess, as only a announcement clip is available.
What Makes Divinity Special
